What's New at the TTE?


  • 06/12/2006 - Errors occuring on the TTE search results page (not showing records newer than 2001) have been fixed.

  • 12/20/2005 - The TTE website and database are moved to a new server.

  • 09/1/2005 - David Sweeney has moved on to a new position outside of Disability Services. For future TTE information please contact Tracey Forman.

  • 01/31/2005 - TTE database structure and website have been migrated to a new interface. Work completed by Computer Science doctoral student.

  • 04/1/1999 - The new TTE server goes online. Capacity has been increased to 23GB online storage space. Members can now search through the books database using a query. Non TTE members may search the database, but may not download holdings.

  • 03/21/1999 - Membership in the TTE is now open to institutions in Canada! Canadian members must satisfy and follow all of our policies and procedures layed out in the Consortium Member Agreement.

  • 08/21/1998 - We have received several requests to provide public access to our bibliography lists .  Up to this point, we have restricted access of the search engine to TTE members only because of legal questions.  But w'ere considering publicly accessible bibliography lists and would appreciate your input.   Actual material would, of course, still be available only to registered members of the TTE.

  • 07/27/1998 -The TTE has gone National!  If you are a disability service provider at a U.S. institution of Higher Education, you may be eligible for a free membership.   K-12 and Texas Commission for the Blind field offices are still eligible within the state of Texas.
